Jason Derulo says the new Australian TV show ‘Everybody Dance Now’ is more like a sports show than a reality contest.
Derulo is one of the team leaders on Network 10’s new TV show ‘Everybody Dance Now’, premiering tonight (August 12) on Australian television, and together with Kelly Rowland will be mentoring a team.
“This show is different because everyone is really good and everyone is different. It is not the laughing stock show. It is not negative at all. It is really positive,” he tells Noise11.com. “Its like sports. If you are into sports you will like this show because its just like that. We are going head to head every single night. Even if you are not a fan of dancing, you are a fan of sports, you will dig this show”.
Both Jason and Kelly have a massive amount of dancers to look over. “There is team Kelly which is Kelly Rowland and Team Jason and we both have 44 dancers each,” he says.
He also says it won’t be a roadkill show like Australian Idol, The Voice and The X-Factor. “This show is really cool. It is really special. It is really different from the other dance shows. We have some incredible dancers. This show is all about strategy”.
Everybody Dance Now starts tonight at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
