Jason Singh’s ‘Easy’ has been selected for the soundtrack of the new Australian movie ‘John Doe: Vigilante’.
‘John Doe: Vigilante’ tests the boundaries between hero and villain. The movie, starring Lachy Hulme and Jamie Bamber, tells the story of an ordinary man who takes the law into his own hands.
‘Easy’ was featured on Jason Singh’s debut solo album ‘Humannequin’, released late last year. The album is his first release outside of Taxiride. Taxiride formed in Melblourne in 1997. They released the two platinum albums ‘Imaginate’ (1999) and ‘Garage Mahal’ (2002) as well as a final album ‘Axiomatic’ (2005) and the live album ‘Electrophobia’ (2006).
Taxiride also had six Top 40 singles ‘Get Set’, ‘Everywhere I Go’, ‘Can You Feel’, ‘Creepin’ Up Slowly’, ‘How I Got This Way’ and ‘Oh Yeah’.
Jason Singh has also released another taste of his solo album ‘Humannequin’ with the single ‘Speakers’.
