The Jazz Bell Awards nominee shortlist is here with Barney McAll up for four of the seven awards.
Barney is for Best Instrumental Jazz Album, Best Produced Album, Best Australian Jazz Song and Best Small Jazz Band.
The Bells are a unique music awards show for Australia as the only awards in Australia to acknowledge excellence specifically for jazz performance, creativity and presentation.
Created by Albert Dadon (Albare) and named after Australian jazz great Graeme Bell, the Bells are now in their 14th season. “The prestigious Australian Jazz Bell Awards honour the jazz art form in Australia, recognising the achievements of young, upcoming and established Australian jazz performers and composers,” Mr Dadon said.
