Jeff Hanneman Memorial To Take Place In LA

A memorial service for Jeff Hanneman of Slayer will be held at the Hollywood Palladium on May 23 from 3:30pm.

The memorial is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-in basis and open to all ages.

Hanneman founded Slayer with Kerry King, Tom Araya and Dave Lombardo in 1981. Hanneman was a member of the band for 30 years before a spider-bite took him out of action. He died officially from Cirrhosis on May 2, 2013 at the age of 49.

Jeff Hanneman was married to his wife Kathy for 30 years.

The Jeff Hanneman Memorial Celebration at the Hollywood Palladium is expected to wrap up around 7:30pm.
