Jeff Lynne Rained Supreme At Glastonbury

Jeff Lynne had a rock solid setlist planned for Glastonbury on the weekend. The one thing he didn’t plan on was the rain.

As Lynne started, the heavens opened but the rain-soaked fans were still treated to one of the greatest setlists in classic rock.

While Lynne released a new album ‘Alone In The Universe’ in 2015 he only performed one song from it ‘When I Was a Boy’. The most recent song prior to that one was 36 years old, ‘All Over The World’ from the movie ‘Xanadu’.

Everything else was classic 70s dating back to ELO’s first album in 1971 and touching on each release through that decade.

Even with a 15 song set Lynne passed on classics that combined could create a complete other setlist without repeating.
