Over 200 Australian venues have signed up for SLAM Day 2013 with new acts being added every day and today you can add Pete Murray and Jeff Martin to the list.
Some of the artists line-up for SLAM Day now are Pete Murray at the Hoey Moey in Coffs Harbour NSW, to the Tea Party’s Jeff Martin at Darwin’s Railway Club NT, My Fiction at the Zoo in Brisbane QLD, Soul Fellas at The Promethean in Adelaide SA, the John Read Band at Settlers Tavern in Margaret River WA and Claude Hay at The Blues Train in Queenscliff VIC and Tijuana Cartel at The Republic Bar in Hobart TAS.
Donna Simpson from The Waifs, Bill Chambers and The Dave Mann Collective will also be playing at Quinnyfest in Western Australia for SLAM Day.
Last weekend Elvis Costello and the Imposters also pledged their support of SLAM Day.
Support a SLAM Day gig in your town – any style, any genre. Small gigs can happen in your backyard, in a venue, in your community hall, in a cafe, on the street or in the park.
