Jennifer Lopez’s ‘On The Floor’ was the most-viewed music video of 2011, setting Pitbull up to rule the top ten.
YouTube announced its Top Ten most-viewed lists for the year. While Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ was the most-viewed video of the year, that list excluded music from major labels.
When you factor those in, Black can’t match the more than 453 million hits that went to J Lo’s ‘On The Floor’, featuring Pitbull.
LMFAO scored the second place on the major label list with ‘Party Rock Anthem’, and eighth place with ‘Sexy And I Know It’.
Third was Bruno Mars’ ‘The Lazy Song’ and fourth was Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Bass’.
Alongside his Lopez guest spot, Pitbull himself scored two in the top ten with ‘Give Me Everything’ at number five and ‘Rain Over Me’ at number six.
The number seven spot went to Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag’ and Katy Perry got nine and ten with ‘E.T.’ and ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)’, which still got 144 million views.
YouTube reports that they got more than 1 trillion (with a ‘t’) views in 2011, 140 views for every person on earth.
