Jessica Mauboy was treated to a Royal encounter this week when she was introduced to another Aussie in Denmark. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
The Australian born wife of Prince Frederik of Denmark, came to the Eurovision venue with her two children Prince Christian and Princess Isabella to wish Jessica goo luck ahead of the performance.
Jessica Mauboy made her Eurovision debut performing the new song ‘Sea Of Flags’ for the second semi final in Copenhagen. She is the first ever solo artist from a non European Union country to be invited to guest and perform at Eurovision.
‘Sea Of Flags’ is a new song written by Ilan Kidron of The Potbelleez and Stu Crichton especially for Jessica to perform at Eurovision.
12,000 people were in the room while Jessica played. The show was seen on television by an estimated 180 million worldwide.
Australians will see Jessica’s performance on SBS Saturday May 10.

Jessica Mauboy’s Road to Eurovision which follows Jess’ Eurovision journey from Darwin to Denmark will air on SBS at 7:30pm followed by her performance in semi-final two from 8:30pm.
The Eurovision Song contest airs May 9-11 on SBS ONE. #SBSEurovision
