Jessica Mauboy released a second preview from her fourth album ‘Hilda’ with a stunning video for ‘Little Things’.
“‘Little Things’ is such a personal song to me as it’s about my family – my mother and my grandmother Hilda. It is my most emotional song that I’ve ever shared, and I’m so thankful to see how many of you are already embracing it. I’m really proud of this video; it’s me at my rawest and I can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to it,” Jessica said in a statement.
‘Little Things’ was written by Jessica Mauboy with David Musumeci (who also co-wrote Jessica’s ‘Firestarter’, ‘Never Be The Same’, ‘Sunday’ and ‘We Got Love’), Anthony Egizii (who co-wrote the Kate Alexa album in 2007 with Musuemci) and Chiara Hunter (who wrote the song ‘Don’t Leave Me’ for Leo Sayer’s latest album ‘Selfie’ and also worked on the vocals for Sesame Street’s ‘H is for Healthy’ in the 46th season).
Hilda is Jessica’s middle name. ‘Hilda’ the album is about the little things in everyone’s lives, the quiet Sunday, the thoughtful cab ride … and your two families, the one you are born with and the one you choose.
