Jim Moginie Returns To Active Duty In Midnight Oil

Jim Moginie sat last night’s Midnight Oil concert in as he recovers from his hamstring injury.

Moginie threw the remaining four Midnight Oil dates into chaos for almost 24 hours when he fell off stage during the band’s performance at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne. After a day in hospital diagnosed with a hamstring avulsion, Moginie was given doctor’s permission to work the next four shows sitting down.

Being November 11, the show opened with ‘Armistice Day’. It was only the second time the song has appeared in the Great Circle world tour setlist. It was previously played in Portland, Or on May 29.
