Jimmy Barnes enticed old pal Steve Van Zandt into the studio to help him out on a new song this week.

Van Zandt and Barnes go back to 1985 with Jimmy’s ‘For The Working Class Man’ album. Steve co-wrote ‘Ride The Night Away’ with Steve Jordan.
Steve Van Zandt is in Australia performing with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band for the first time since 2003. He missed the 2013 Australian tour with Bruce due to television commitments. He is currently starring in ‘Lilyhammer’ as Frank ‘The Fixer’ Tagliano.
Barnes has three studio projects on the boil this year. He is recording another rhythm and blues album with producer Kevin Shirley, he will have another solo rock record of original material sometime this year and Cold Chisel are actively working on their next album.
