Jimmy Barnes Preempts 2016 Soul Album With Best of the Soul Years

Jimmy Barnes will release a new soul album in 2016 and has preempted the next release with ‘Best of the Soul Years’.

Barnes first soul record ‘Soul Deep’ was released in 1991. He was his biggest album ever selling 9x platinum in Australia with over 600,000 sales.

In 2000, Jimmy released the sequel ‘Soul Deeper’ and then in 2009 ‘The Rhythm and the Blues’ and earned himself another couple of Platinum awards. ‘The Rhythm and the Blues’ became Jimmy’s ninth number one solo record.

Jimmy Barnes ‘The Best of the Soul Years’ will be released on 21 August 2015.
