Jimmy Barnes ‘Flesh and Wood Acoustic tour shows for Sydney and Brisbane have sold out and an extra show has been added for the Gold Coast.
Barnes performed a limited number of the Flesh and Wood shows during his 30:30 Hindsight tour and will now take the show to the cities.
The ‘Flesh and Wood’ shows are based on Barnes’ 1993 acoustic album of te same name. The album featured stripped back versions of his solo and Cold Chisel songs as well as duets with Joe Cocker, Deborah Conway and The Badloves.
“Last year’s regional Flesh and Wood shows on the 30:30 tour were almost as much fun as recording the album in the first place and it’s great that we’ll get to bring the show to the Gold Coast too. The band and I are looking forward to playing all these great songs again, with a bit of storytelling and strings thrown in, when we take the show around the country in July”, said Jimmy.
