Jimmy Barnes will headline the inaugural One Electric Day concert at Werribee Park on November 24.
One Electric Day is the new live music event from Regional Touring promoter Duane McDonald.
The first ever event will feature The Angels, James Reyne, Black Sorrows, Ross Wilson and Boom Crash Opera.
McDonald was behind a show at Werribee Park three years ago and for this one he says ‘finally we are ready to rock”.
“The Great Lawn is a magnificent setting for One Electric Day,” he says in a statement. “We look forward to presenting an annual first class event. These acts define a generation. To have them all together in the one day is every music lovers dream. It will be a hit after hit afternoon”.
Jimmy Barnes holds the record for the most number one albums by anyone ever in Australia. He has had 14 charting albums with Cold Chisel, 13 solo and nine number ones.
One Electric Day will be held at Werribee Park on the great lawn on Sunday, November 24.
