Joan Jett celebrates record number of female politicians with ‘Fresh Start’ video

Joan Jett has recorded a new song ‘Fresh Start’ to pay tribute to the record number of women running for office in the USA.

Joan released the video for ‘Fresh Start’ on election day. It features footage of candidates, political veterans volunteers and feminists.

‘Fresh Start’ is one of two new Joan Jett projects. The other is her documentary ‘Bad Reputation’ documenting her life.

Joan Jett will perform 10 Red Hot Summer shows in Australia from January. Five of those shows have completely sold out.

Series one of Red Hot Summer features Jimmy Barnes, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Living End, Diesel, Richard Clapton and Chocolate Starfish.
