Aussie roots hero John Butler will release a double live album from his Tin Shed Tales tour this week.
Butler travelled the nation recently, performing his music solo in a set resembling a tin shed full of artworks and nostalgic memorabilia.
Now fans can relive the intimate shows with a double-album of live recordings. It’s a rare opportunity to hear Butler solo and unadorned.
The Fremantle, Kalgoorlie, Mandurah, Dunsbourough and Albany shows were recorded and the best takes were picked, including in-between song banter and storytelling. It includes his hits, a cover of the Irish anthem ‘Danny Boy’, and a new song ‘Kimberley’.
Tin Shed Tales will be released this Friday 11 May on double-CD digipack and via iTunes.
