John Fogerty is going back in the studio to record his tenth solo studio album and first since 2013’s Wrote a Song For Everyone.
Fogerty has signed with BMG for the new album, which will be out sometime next year. He said “I’m excited to partner with BMG for the next chapter of my music career. Their enthusiasm and confidence, affording me the creative freedom to make the music I want to make, has been absolutely refreshing. We have so many new and intriguing ideas that I look forward to sharing with everyone soon.”
John Loeffler of BMG said “We couldn’t be more proud to sign a cultural and musical icon like John Fogerty, and become part of his legacy as he continues to create extraordinary and timeless music.”
In addition to the new album, BMG will also be reissuing the rest of Fogerty’s solo catalog starting on November 17 with the 20th anniversary edition of the album Full Moon Swamp. The album went on to win the Best Rock Album Grammy award.
In the future, expect reissues of such classics as Centerfield, Eye of the Zombie, Deja Vu (All Over Again) and Premonition along with a new Greatest Hits set.
