John Fogerty’s ‘Wrote A Song For Everyone’ is developing nicely. Fogerty was joined by My Morning Jacket in the studio in Nashville today and yesterday he laid down a song with Alan Jackson.
On Facebook this week he posted, “7 songs recorded for ‘Wrote A Song For Everyone’. 6 more to go. More exciting collaborations to share with you soon….”
The title ‘Wrote A Song For Everyone’ was a track from the classic 1969 Creedence Clearwater Revival album ‘Green River’.
The album will feature reworkings of some of John’s classic songs and some new ones.
Artists lined up for the project including Foo Fighters, Bob Seger, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and Dawes.
