Katy Perry and John Mayer have allegedly gone their separate ways.
The two singers were first linked in 2012 and have enjoyed an on/off romance over the last three years.
In 2014 there were even reports of an engagement, but the pair never seem to stay together long enough. Now E! News is reporting John and Katy have gone their separate ways once again.
An insider dished the dirt that they’d called it quits, but offered up no further details other than they’ll probably make it up in the future.
John and Katy have already taken one break this year, calling time on the shaky romance in March. The reason given then was trust issues, with Katy apparently finding it hard to place it in ladies’ man John. In return John was said to have been having a hard time with the lack of attention Katy was giving him.
‘Katy and John reconnected once she had a break in her Prismatic World Tour. So, for those few months they had a great time, pretending that it would last – and of course it didn’t,’ a source told Radar at the time.
Neither star has spoken about the alleged split on their social media accounts. Instead it’s been business as usual for Katy, who launched her new perfume Mad Potion recently.
‘Had a magical time launching MAD POTION at the Magic Castle yesterday!
