The Deni Blues & Roots Festival will return to Deniliquin, NSW in 2014 with John Mayer and the Doobie Brothers a couple of the names set to perform.
Following the inaugural event this year with Santana, Jason Mraz, Status Quo, Steve Miller and Bonnie Raitt, the festival will return with a line-up boasting some of the greatest live performers currently in the world including Dr John, Gary Clarke Jr and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
“It’s very exciting to be announcing the 1st acts for the 2nd Deni Blues & Roots Festival in April 2014,” co-promoter Michael Chugg said. “It was a great two days at our first festival earlier this year and I can’t wait to announce more acts.”
“It’s a testimony to the great concert and camping facilities and easy to get to location that the community has built to welcome concert and festival goers,” said co-promoter and CEO Rob Potts. “Deni Blues & Roots 2014 is set to add another great list of local and international performers to this impressive list at Easter 2014, a time when Deni also has its best weather every year.”
Russell Morris, the man with ‘Sharkmouth’, the most successful Australian album of 2013, will join the line-up with other Aussie acts Jasmine Rae and Cash Savage and the Last Drinks.
The Deni Blues and Roots Festival is held over the Easter Weekend on April 19 and 20. It is just a 3.5 hour drive from Melbourne and 7.5 hours from Adelaide.
The event is held at the Deni Ute Muster site and camping is available onsite.
