Controversial comedian John Oliver will stand-up in Sydney and Melbourne in August.
Oliver, the star of the politically charged host of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, John will return to where he started for Australian audiences … stand-up comedy.
John Oliver was a writer and guest host for The Daily Show With John Stewart from2006 to 2013. He has also been a recurring star in ‘Community’ and been the voice of Vanity Smurf in The Smurf movies.
Last Week Tonight is a brutally honest look at the week’s news without holding back on corporations and politicians. Australia’s Tony Abbott has been in Oliver’s target.
