Jon Stevens ‘Rain Down On Me’, his charity song for drought stricken farmers, has debuted at no 1 on iTunes Top Rock Songs chart.
Stevens performed the song at the benefit gig Rural Aid benefit ‘Hay Mate: Buy A Bale – A Concert For The Farmers’ on Saturday night in Tamworth.
The Buy A Bale concert also featured John Farnham, Guy Sebastian, Andrew Farriss from INXS, and The Veronicas.
6500 fans watched the show live from Scully Park in Tamworth. The show, hosted by David Campbell, Sonia Kruger and Richard Wilkins, raised over $2 million for farmers.
The charity show also gave Jon’s Noisework’s hits a profile boost. Stevens’ other songs back in the chart are ‘Take Me Back’ at no 7, ‘Touch’ at 17, his solo version of ‘Take Me Back’ at 45, ‘No Lies’ at 49.
