The Dead Daisies singer Jon Stevens can be heard singing the main theme song to the new Disney movie ‘Planes’.
Stevens recorded the song ‘Fly’ for the movie and the song is credited as Jon Stevens of The Dead Daisies.
‘Planes’ is the first film of what is planned to be a trilogy for Disney. ‘Planes: Fire & Rescue’ will follow in 2014.
‘Planes’ features the voices of Dane Cook, Cedric The Entertainer, Brad Garrett, Stacy Keach, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and John Cleese.
Stevens is currently on tour the USA in a wheel-chair with The Dead Daisies. He broke his leg in a fishing accident in Queensland just days before heading to America.
The Dead Daisies are headlining the Coldcock Herbal Whiskey Showcase Stage powered by Ernie Ball.
The tour is part of the Uproar Festival with Jane’s Addiction and Alice In Chains.
