Jorja Smith out of Laneway Festival for Adelaide, Melbourne and Fremantle

English singer songwriter Jorja Smith has pulled out of the Laneway Festival in Adelaide, Melbourne and Fremantle but will still perform Brisbane, Auckland and Sydney.

Jorja has been nominated for a Grammy Award and will cut short for Australian appearances to attend that event instead. She will now play a one-off headline show in Melbourne at the Forum on February 1.

Jorja has been nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy’s. She is up against Luke Combs, Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Greta Van Fleet, Chloe x Halle, H.E.R. and Margo Price (whose album came out in 2016 but somehow she still qualifies as New Artist).

Melbourne’s The Smith Street Band will join the Laneway line-up for the five city dates.

Laneway has also announced the Triple J Unearthed winners who will perform in each state.
