Julian Casablancas has pulled out of the Falls Festival citing that old Christmas chestnut “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason to cancel the tour.
Julian Casablancas + The Voidz were due to arrive in Australia next week to perform at the Falls Festival in Lorne, Marion Bay and Byron Bay over the New years long weekend but those “unforseen circumstances” popped up right at the 11th hour.
“Unfortunately, due to unforeseen logistical circumstances, we must cancel our planned trip to Australia and Asia. The band is hoping to announce new dates sometime in the New Year and are disappointed that it can’t be right now and are very sorry for all and any inconvenience,” Casablancas said in a last minute statement.
The Falls Festival have added Cloud Control to all three shows and DZ Deathrays to Lorne and Byron Bay to make up for the Casablancas absence.
