The Baby hitmaker is protective of his mum, Pattie Mallette.
And he’s so uncomfortable seeing her with strange men they agreed she would wait to date until he turned 18.
“I’m 18 now. She told me she would wait until I was 18 to do the dating thing again,’ he said on US radio show On-Air With Ryan Seacrest.
Justin hit the landmark year in March.
Now he’s begrudgingly accepting Pattie is single and looking.
‘I mean, I’m still not cool with it, but I guess I’m going to have to be,’ he said, resolving, ‘My mom’s still got to have a life.’
Pattie was 17-years-old when she became pregnant with the future pop sensation.
She never married his father, Jeremy Bieber, and raised Justin as a single mother.
