Justin Bieber has penned a song about his split with Selena Gomez.
The number, entitled Nothing Like Us, is set to appear on his album Believe Acoustic, which is released this week.
Nothing Like Us is one of three new tracks on the record.
“It tells the whole story about how he broke up with her, she begged him to take her back, and then he decided he was done for good,” a source told Us Weekly.
“This is his answer to Selena.”
Justin and Selena dated for two years before splitting just before New Year’s Day.
The 18-year-old Canadian star and his girlfriend, 20, were reported to have gone on holiday to Mexico in December to try to patch up their differences before having a ‘huge fight’ and breaking up for good.
According to the magazine, the lyrics in the second verse of Nothing Like Us hint that Justin became fed up with the ‘back and forth drama,’ in the relationship.
The lyrics include the lines: ‘Gave you everything, everything I had to give, girl why would you push me away. That’s in the past now, we didn’t last now. Guess that this is meant to be. Tell me was it worth it. We were so perfect.’
