Pop icon-turned-movie-star Justin Timberlake says his music career isn’t necessarily over.
NME reports that Timberlake revealed to BBC Newsbeat that he isn’t neglecting music.
He said, “I don’t really put anything on the back burner. I go from project to project and if something comes up that’s inspiring and feels like it makes sense and is authentic to me, then… I’m just trying to continue to be inspired.”
That said, the latest news is that he’s slated to play a musician in a new Coen Brothers film called Inside Llewyn Davis.
He’s currently going around the world plugging his new sci-fi thriller In Time.
As it stands, since 2000 Timberlake has only made two albums solo, yet has been in sixteen films.
His last album, 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, sold 10 million copies worldwide. That said, he has appeared as a guest on numerous singles since then with Madonna, 50 Cent, Ciara, Jamie Foxx, T.I. and more.
