Justin Timberlake will expand his ‘The 20/20 Experience’ album with a second volume to be called ‘The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2’ in September.
Volume 2 will feature 11 new tracks. “I originally recorded a massive amount of material and decided on the 20 tracks that I wanted on the album over a year ago,” Justin Timberlake said in a statement. “But, when I was mixing and going through all of the songs there were so many that I loved – I couldn’t resist… I had to throw in something extra on the 2nd half.”
The first taste of the new album is ‘Take Back The Night’. The song was written by Timberlake with Timbaland, Jerome ‘J-Roc’ Harmon and James Fauntleroy and produced by Timbaland, Timberlake and Harmon.
Justin Timberlake has also announced he will start his ‘The 20/20 Experience World Tour’ in October. It will be his first tour in six years. He will also head out for the Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour with Jay-Z starting Wednesday in Toronto, Canada.
‘The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2’ as well as the double album ‘The 20/20 Experience – The Complete Experience’ will be released on September 27.
