Kanye West has been confirmed as the Saturday night headliner for Glastonbury 2015.
Glastonbury is slowly rolling out its line-up for 2015. Foo Fighters were previously announced as the Friday headliner and Lionel Richie has been confirmed to perform (but not headline) on the Sunday.
Glastonbury boss Emily Eavis announced the Kanye West addition via Twitter. “We are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage!” she said.

Kanye West will head to Austin, Texas this week for SXSW. On Friday he will be a guest of the Jimmy Kimmel show being broadcast from the SXSW conference all of this week.
West has had a prolific start to 2014 with three songs released so far this year and all of them, ‘Only One’, ‘FourFiveSeconds’ and ‘All Day’, with Paul McCartney. His new album ‘So Help Me God’ is expected by mid-year.
