Loveable country lass Kasey Chambers not only has a new album in the works, but also a revealing memoir.

The book, written with esteemed rock journalist Jeff Apter, is titled A Little Bird Told Me.
It will follow her youth living on the Nullarbor with her “free-spirited” parents, to performing with the family’s Dead Ringer Band in outback pubs, to her solo career and her own family.
A Little Bird Told Me will be published by Harper Collins on Thursday September 1.
But that’s not all. She’s planning a new album already, following up the success of her Little Bird album of last year.
It will be a heartfelt tribute to the artists who inspired her own journey, from Suzanne Vega to Paul Kelly to Lucinda Williams to Steve Earle and more.
It’s titled Songbook and is sure to be a fine companion piece to her autobiography. Songbook will be released on Friday September 23 through Liberation.
