Kasey Chambers has announced that she will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and will be the youngest female to ever be inducted.

Despite being the youngest female to be inducted, 42-year old Kasey has had one of the longest careers spanning over 30 years since her family band The Dead Ringer Band began in 1986 when Kasey was 10.

The Dead Ringer Band was Kasey, dad Bill, brother Nash and mother Diane. They recorded four albums and one EP between 1992 and 1998.

Kasey’s debut album was ‘The Captain’ in 1999. It peaked at no 11 on the ARIA chart and one song ‘He Is Risen’, made it all the way through to an episode of The Sopranos.

Kasey’s most recent album ‘Campfire’ was release in April 2018. She has had five number one albums in Australia and has received 17 platinum awards.
