Kasey Chambers will perform on the Santa Monica Pier for the G’Day USA Australia Rocks The Pier series in California.

The free concert on August 2nd will also feature Matt Ellis and D Henry Fenton with TV’s Jamie Durie hosting the event.
Past years have featured Ben Lee, Missy Higgins, Ry Cuming and Andy Clockwise.
Australian Consul-General Chris DeCure shares, “We are delighted to again be partnering with the Santa Monica Pier Restoration Authority to bring Australian contemporary music to the Twilight Concert Series. My hope is that through this program, Angelenos will develop a great appreciation of the diversity and creativity of Australian music. We are thrilled that Kasey Chambers, one of Australia’s most awarded artists, will be joining us at the pier, along with Australian folk singer Matt Ellis and emerging artist D Henry Fenton.”
The event attracts thousands of Californians and everyone who attends goes into a contest to win a 5-night trip to Sydney.
In other news, Kasey Chambers and husband Shane Nicholson will release their second album ‘Wreck & Ruin’ in September.
