Kathy Griffin has two words for where Australia is potentially heading in the next election. “Sarah Palin”.
“You’ve got to imagine having a Sarah Palin type as your P.M.,” Kathy tells Noise11. “It’s ridiculous. You might think that you are saving your taxes or whatever those ring-wringers think. Let me tell you. It never works out, it never lasts and on the social issues you are going to lose because you are going to be on the wrong side of history. Progress is being on the right side of history”.
Kathy has been an outspoken supporter of marriage equality. “I’m involved in the LGBT community and we are interested in how you guys feel about gay marriage because that has become a very hot topic here recently. Naturally I am on the side of any party that’s on the side of freedom of liberties and progress.”
Kathy Griffin will be in Australia in October to perform for Adrian Bohm Presents.

October 18, Sydney, Opera House (Just For Laughs festival)
