Katy Perry and John Mayer have gone public with their romance.
The two singers have been linked since the summer, with reports rife they have split and rekindled their romance several times.
Although neither has spoken about the relationship openly, it seems they are now ready for the world to know they are an item.
Katy and John attended a performance of Broadway show A Christmas Story: The Musical in New York City last night and happily walked the red carpet together.
The pair smiled as they posed for photographs with the show’s composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, as well as with the cast.
They seemed happy and relaxed with each other and decided against dressing up for their date. Katy opted for a multi-coloured, knitted coat, worn over a black knee-length skirt, tights and blue suede calf boots.
John wore a plaid scarf and beige trousers, with a checked jacket and white shirt.
John and Katy raised eyebrows when they were seen enjoying dates in Los Angeles in August, several months after Katy’s divorce from Russell Brand was finalised.
Things soon took a twist though, with claims Katy was concerned famed womaniser John wasn’t ready to commit.
“She needs the guy to be on board 100 percent and she was sick of John disappearing for five days at a time, then booty calling her, then straightening up and treating her well, only to go back to his old behaviour a few days later,” an insider explained.
Things have been firmly back on track for the last few months, with Katy, 28, even thought to be behind 35-year-old John’s dapper makeover.
