Keith Urban’s new album, Graffiti U, comes out this Friday (April 27).

A followup to the extremely successful Ripcord, the album showcases what Urban says is the natural progression of his sound.

“I’ve been full-on writing, recording, collaborating and creating with some incredibly talented people for Graffiti U, a lot of whom I’ve never worked with before. I can hear how some of the songs will translate live already, which really makes putting on a new show so exhilarating.”

Here, Urban talks about how he came up with the Graffiti U name and what to look for in the new release.
