Kenney Jones will release his new autobiography, Let the Good Times Roll: My Life In the Small Faces, the Faces and The Who, on May 31 via Blink Publishing.

Jones’ story truly is a history of British rock from the early Mod days of the 60’s through to his lengthy tenure as the with the Who.

Kenny was a founding member of the Small Faces in 1965 with Ronnie Lane, Steve Marriott, Jimmy Winston and Ian McLagan and stayed with them until 1969 when Marriott left the band and Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood took over in the newly named Faces.

When the Faces broke up in 1975, Jones went on to replace the late-Keith Moon in The Who and was with the band until 1988. He later went on to form The Law with Paul Rodgers and The Jones Gang along with doing numerous guest appearances.

Per a press release, “The legacy created by Kenney and his band mates has influenced acts as diverse as Led Zeppelin, the Sex Pistols and Oasis and now, for the very first time, Kenney tells the full story of how a young cockney Herbert played his part in the biggest social transformation in living memory – the people, the parties, the friendships, the fall-outs, the laughter, the sadness, the sex, drugs, and a lot of rock ‘n’ roll, while also opening up about his own deeply personal battles and passions, too. This is a vivid and breath-taking immersion into the most exciting era of music history and beyond.”
