Kevin Johnson To Play First Melbourne Show In 20 Years

Singer songwriter Kevin Johnson will perform his first Melbourne show in 20 years at The Palms at Crown in September.

“I’m really looking forward to performing in Melbourne once again. 20 years is a long time between drinks,” he said in a statement.

Johnson is best known for the classic ‘Rock and Roll I Gave You The Best Years Of My Life’ (no 4, 1973) and first appeared on the Australian chart with the Top 20 ‘Bonnie Please Don’t Go’ in 1971.

Johnson’s songs have been recorded by Mac Davis, Tom Jones and … Gary Glitter.

Johnson recently released ‘Kevin Johnson The Ultimate Collection’ through Robert Rigby’s Ambition label.

Kevin Johnson will perform at The Palms at Crown on September 12, 2015.
