Accused (and alleged) sexual predator Kevin Spacey has posted a peculiar video speaking out about the allegations using his House of Cards Frank Underwood persona to tell the story.
“If I didn’t pay the price for the things I did do, I’m certainly not going to pay the price for the things I didn’t do,” Spacey, um … Underwood, says in the video.
The two-time Academy Award winning actor continues (as Frank), “my confidence grows each day that you will soon know the full truth.”
Spacey was dumped from his starring role as Frank Underwood in the Netflix series House of Cards when the first allegations became known in October 2017. Actor Anthony Rapp accused the Hollywood star of making advances to him when he was 14 and Spacey was 26.
Spacey didn’t deny the accusation but instead called it “inappropriate drunken behaviour”.
Since then further allegations have surfaced. This month Spacey was charged with sexually assaulting the son of journalist Heather Unrah. Spacey will appear in court on 7 January 2019 to address the charges.
The Underwood character was written out of ‘House of Cards’ with Frank stabbed to death. In the ‘Lets Me Be Frank’ Spacey video he ends, “You never actually saw me die, did you? Conclusions can be so deceiving. Miss me?”
Actually we did see him die but in Hollywood death is never the end. TBC.
