The Australian Radio Network’s KIIS1065 has increased audience over rival networks Austereo and DMG that run Sydney stations 2DAYFM and NOVA.
In the second survey of 2014 KIIS1065 has increased to a 10.1 share Monday to Friday and the breakfast show featuring Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O has increased from 9.3 to 10.9 making it the number one Sydney FM breakfast radio show.
In the previous survey Kyle and Jackie O tied with Jonesy & Amanda on sister station WSFM.
Austereo’s 2DAYFM failed to spice up the Sydney audience with a Spice Girl on breakfast. Spice Girl Mel B, together with Jules Lund, Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts struggled to consolidate its audience with a 4.1 share earning less than half the audience listening to KIIS1065.
NOVA96.9 featuring the new team pf Fitzy & Wippa also out-spiced 2DAYFM but was well behind KIIS1065 with a 7.9 share.
