The busiest girl in indie-pop Kimbra announces a sly national tour for May.
It seems every day something new is happening for adopted Kiwi Kimbra. Her US release date is on the way (with new songs), she’s booked for SXSW, a tour with Gotye through the US and a tour with Foster The People over there too.
So what does she do? Jam an Australian run of headlining dates in there. The five dates around the nation will be in between her Gotye and Foster The People runs, but she’s used to that, since she took a break mid-Big Day Out to fly to the US to play ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ on TV.
She’ll be bringing along soul man (and platinum-seller in the UK) Daniel Merriweather, and buddy Sam Lawrence.
Tickets go on sale to Frontier members from midday next Thursday, and for everyone else from 9am Monday 19 March.
