Girl-of-the-moment Kimbra signs on for Gotye’s US tour and a Jimmy Kimmel appearance.
Kimbra has been confirmed to follow Gotye through the US (and a dip into Canada) from March 22 to April 12, Washington to San Francisco.
She’ll also be joining Gotye for a performance of their smash hit ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 1.
And in between times, she showcases her lush jazz pop at the monstrous music conference South By South West in Austin, Texas from March 13 to 17.
She’s already broke through in Australia with her debut Vows, and recently three scored entries in triplej’s Hottest 100 (not counting her guest on Gotye’s number one): ‘Cameo Lover’ at 25, ‘Good Intent’ at 52 and ‘Two Way Street’ at 93.
Some of her Vows tunes were released in the US in October as the ‘Settle Down’ EP and she’s been working on music for her proper US debut.
