Kings of Leon will perform a one-off show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and because of the small capacity additional measures have been taken to avoid scalping.
Tickets will be limited to two per buyer and if more tickets are detected for the same buyer all additional transactions will be cancelled.
Promoter Frontier Touring also warns that, “Any customer that resells this ticket at a premium (i.e. an inflated price); resells this ticket through a broker or agent; advertises or offers this ticket for resale including on the internet; or uses this ticket for advertising, promotion or other commercial purpose (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, without the prior written permission of promoter will have their transaction cancelled”.
No hard tickets will be issued. Frontier advises that, “fans will be sent an email confirmation and have to collect a wristband on the day at the venue. Anyone not collecting their wristbands during this time will not gain entry to the event. Wristbands are strictly non-transferable and must not be tampered with. Tickets are not exchangeable or transferable”.
“Wristbands must be collected and personally signed for by the credit card holder who is the only person authorised to collect. For identification purposes the credit card holder must also present the credit card used when purchasing the tickets, valid Photo ID in order to collect the tickets”.
It has been seven years since Kings of Leon played at the intimate Enmore Theatre in Sydney and have since won three Grammy Awards and grabbed the top of Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 2009.
The Enmore Theatre show for Sydney will be Kings Of Leon only Australian performance.
Tickets will go on sale on November 13 for the show on November 20.
