The Kinks will release a new two-CD compilation that combines their own songs with a number from founding member Ray Davies’ solo career.
Waterloo Sunset: The Very Best of the Kinks and Ray Davies spans the groups entire six-decade career across a number of labels and includes many of their biggest hits (although it inexplicably has left off A Well Respected Man).
Disc 1 contains most of the group’s hits along with a number of classic album tracks. Disc 2 contains 22 songs selected by Ray Davies from the group’s catalog that are all about London.
