Two of Korea’s biggest pop stars Rise and EunB have died in a car crash.

Rise (Kwon Ri-Saw) was 23, EunB was 22.

Both were members of Korean girl group Ladies’ Code. The girls were travelling together neat Seoul when the accident occurred on Wedensday. EunB died shortly after the crash. Rise died four days later on Sunday.

All five members of the group were travelling together. One other member has a fractured jaw and two have minor injuries and are being treated for shock.

The group were returning to Seoul after filming for a television in Daegu.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. It is believed that the van carrying the group crashed into a guard rail while speeding on a wet highway during heavy rain. The van driver is also being treated for minor injuries.
