Kris Kristofferson has told Fox News that he is struggling with increased memory loss.
The 77-year-old singer/songwriter said that, over the last few years, he has noticed that he is having trouble remembering many things. “I wish my memory weren’t so bad. They tell me its from all the football and boxing and the concussions that I got. A couple of years ago my memory just started going but I can remember my songs so I can perform, but other than that..”
While there was no mention of an Alzheimer’s Disease diagnosis, Kristofferson is another in a series of musicians who have been grappling with some form of memory loss or dementia including Glen Campbell and Bobby Vee.
Kristofferson’s problem certainly isn’t slowing him down. He released his album Feeling Mortal earlier this year, hosts a segment on the weekly show Troubadour, TX and continues to work on his record label, KK Records. He also stars in the upcoming independent film The Motel Life.
