Krist Novoselic has poked fun at Nirvana fans ripping into the “reunion” Sunday night in Seattle at a Foo Fighters gig by saying Kurt Cobain wasn’t there because he doesn’t have his email.
In fact, Novoselic says that he had never emailed Cobain and that he’d been on email since 1993.
Novoselic joined Foo Fighters for one song ‘Molly’s Lips’, The Vaselines song covered by Nirvana on their 1992 Hormoaning EP.
The Novoselic walk-up was written up by The Seattle Tines as somewhat of a Nirvana reunion with Grohl, Pat Smear and Krist together again and that sent fans to Twitter to protest.

Krist responded more tongue-in-cheek. “We tried to get a hold of him for this gig—as many times as we tried to contact Kurt, we couldn’t get through. The phone just kept ringing & ringing. Kurt does not have email. In fact I have never emailed him in my life and I have been online since 1993,” he tweeted.
