Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson will join the Australian Radio Network (ARN) in 2014 and the network confirms it is introducing a new brand.
ARN is expected to announce their new brand name KIISFM for 2014 replacing the MIX brand with Kyle and Jackie O the new masthead of the network. The network currently broadcasts the MIXFM and Classic Hits stations around Australia as well as the digital brand iHeartRADIO.
Duncan Campbell, head of programming the Australian Radio Network, said in a statement, “Kyle and Jackie are immense talent with a huge and loyal fan base who are going to be thrilled to be waking up with their favourite presenters on a new, energetic and entertaining station next year. It’s a fresh start and Kyle and Jackie are equally excited to be joining us.”
The official announcement marks a big week of movements in Australian radio with the departure and Matt and Jo from Fox FM, Tom Ballard from Triple J, Hughesy and Kate on Nova and Kyle and Jackie O (Henderson) from 2DAY FM.
