Anglia Ruskin University in Essex, UK made Dr. Kylie Minogue official this week.

Dr. Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. Now six-years later she is still cancer free.

After the event Kylie said, “It is a really gorgeous honour”.

Since Kylie was first diagnosed with breast cancer, doctors have seen a noted increase in women coming in for check-ups to the point where they have called it “the Kylie effect”.

Kylie recently wound up her ‘Aphrodite’ tour. The tour was spread across 5 continents and 27 countries in 55 cities. Kylie played 77 shows, spent 150 days on the road, travelled 85,000 kilometres and played to 575,000 fans.
