Kylie Minogue will release new music in 2014 and the first song you hear is probably going to be called ‘Into The Blue’.
Kylie teased fans with the possible title on New Year’s Day with a picture uploaded to her Twitter account with the handwritten words ‘Into The Blue’ and the tweet “Happy New Year #Lovers… I wish u all the best @ can’t wait to share new music w u in #KM2014 #IntoTheBlue.
‘Into The Blue’ is the song thought to be written by Kelly Sheehan, who also wrote ‘Touch My Body’ for Mariah Carey and ‘How We Do (Party)’ for Rita Ora.
Kylie had been planning a 2014 tour when her new job on The Voice was announced.
The song ‘Into The Blue’ is expected later this month.
Kylie is still working on her new album. She tweeted that she spent New Year’s Day “recording in the studio” for her next record.
The Kylie album is due in the second quarter of 2014. Known collaborators include Fernando Garibay, Pharrell Williams, Darkchild, Ariel Rechtshaid, Sia, and Nervo. The record will be Kylie’s 12th studio album and her first for Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label.
